French swingman Digue Diawara declared for the 2019 NBA Draft earlier this week. Digue Diawara played in Pau-Orthez this season, after spending 3 seasons in ASVEL and 1 in Hyères-Toulon.

Pau-Orthez has overachieved this season, fighting for the second place in the Jeep Elite standings. Digue Diawara is an integral part of the team success, playing around 16 minutes per game and scoring 6.0 points and grabbing 2.4 rebounds.

Hoping for a second round selection?

Diawara is a tall, long-armed, athletic forward. He is extremely mobile for a 6'9" forward. He has been playing for France Youth National Teams for years. He played in U16 European Championship, U18 European Championship, U19 World Cup and two U20 European Championships.

Not currently in any Mock Drafts, Digue Diawara will be happy to be selected in the second round on June 20, 2019.

Two other French prospects already declared for the 2019 NBA Draft: Sekou Doumbouya and Abdoulaye Ndoye.
