Dennis Schroder with new career high in assists
Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder set a new career high in assists last night in the 4 OT win against the New York Knicks, 142-139. Schroder played 55 minutes (beating by 14 his previous career high !), scored 23 points with 4 rebounds and 15 assists.
The german point guard is having a breakthrough season averaging 17.6 points and 6.5 assists since Jeff Teague's departure to Indiana.
The 4 overtimes game was the first in the NBA this season. Paul Millsap was the best player on the court with 37 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists. Carmelo Anthony had a huge game too with 45 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
